“Because Character Changes Communities”
NG3 invests in the lives of student athletes through intentional relationship building that involves character development, serving the community, and providing an opportunity for spiritual growth. We work to connect with student athletes of all backgrounds, cultures and beliefs, meeting them where they are, in order to bring positive change to the next generation.
The vision of NG3 is to see positive change in the character of student athletes as a result of meaningful relationships enhanced by character development programs, community activism and chaplain services.
What We Do
The focus of NG3 is to develop character in high school athletes and provide opportunities for spiritual growth. Our commitment is to build relationships, invest time in the lives of these young people, and lead them to serve (or impact) their communities in a positive way. NG3 staff work alongside athletic coaching staff to teach, mentor and guide student-athletes into becoming well-rounded men and women of character.
NG3 Board and Team
Chairman of the Board
Parkview High School Director
Born in San Diego, California I was raised by a single mother with my older brother. Faith, Family, and Sports have always been a large part of my life as I attended church regularly with my family and played multiple sports with and against my older brother.
In 2003 I moved from my hometown of San Diego, Ca. to Atlanta, Ga. to join a non-profit organization, The Fernando Foundation. Over the next four years I played an integral role in bringing hope, community and a competitive sportsmanship to disabled athletes through the sport of power soccer. After my time with the Fernando Foundation I spent the next three years with nation’s fastest growing school fundraising company, Booster Enterprises. While with Booster Enterprises, I spent many hours engaging students of all levels while leading teams to produce the highest results for their clients. With the many lessons learned through my life I hope to use all of my experiences to inspire the next generation at Parkview High School, just as my older brother and mentor, Jesse Muñoz, Jr., inspired me.
I believe that through NG3 I can make the impact that will lead to, students having strong character, communities that are united, and change that produces future leaders. I am a blessed husband to Lynneth Muñoz and a proud father of five wonderful children, Jade, Noah, Javier II, Shiloh and Josiah.

Grayson High School Director
I grew up near Athens, GA and graduated from Madison County High School in 1996. I attended Shorter College, then graduated and married my bride (Erin) in 2003. Together we have three kids; Rylan, Emalyn, and Aiden.
I am currently the Lead Chaplain for Grayson High School. I have been the Grayson Director of NG3 since January 2011. Prior to this, I was a student pastor at a local church for nearly four years.
Since I was 16, I knew that I would have a long “career” in counseling/mentoring students …I just didn’t know what that would look like. It’s what I’m passionate about, and it’s where I have the most experience. Being able to serve Grayson High School through NG3 is an incredible opportunity for me to do what I love. At the end of the day, I get to see students lives impacted and changed for the better.
At NG3, I’m very thankful that I get the opportunity to invest in the next generation.

Our Methodist congregation can trace its origins to Monroe, Georgia, in 1824, when this group held their first one-room class and meeting. From 1825 to the the present day, the Church has had four structures dedicated to the glory of God and the service of the ministry of the salvation of the world through Jesus Christ to both its congregation and the local community. In 1950, Bishop Arthur J. Moore dedicated the present structure currently being utilized. The present church has expanded its property adjacent to the church, including a number of houses which are used by the church, other organizations, etc. The present children's and youth educational facility was completed in 2005 increasing classroom space, including a larger nursery, which allows us to bring the Word of God to the present generation of children and youth. The fellowship hall has been expanded as well as the creation of a new multi-use 'Upper Room' on the 2nd floor of the children's and youth educational facility. Now, with close to 200 years of ministry behind us, we move forward with a strong desire to share what we know about the Lord of life to new generations whom the Lord is pleased to send to us and we will surely welcome and safeguard. As our Lord challenged both Peter as well as all of His Disciples; "Do you love me?.. Feed my sheep" John 21:17-18.
